DRI to present at the 28th ESV Conference in Toronto

DRI is pleased to announce our participation in the 28th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles (ESV), taking place May 12–15, 2026.

At ESV 2026, DRI’s General Manager Jordan Silberling will present the paper:  

  • Paper No. ESV26-174: Development and Validation Methodology of a Strikable Heavy Truck Trailer Surrogate

DRI has also contributed to a joint research paper with Virginia Tech Transportation and General Motors, which will be presented by VTTI:  

  • Paper No. ESV26-227: Using a GST for Human Factors Research with Surprise Events: A Methodology Review

Both papers will be featured in the ADAS for Crash Avoidance and Mitigation: Innovative and Emerging Technologies segment scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026, 8:30am - 12:30pm.

We’re excited to share our work with the international safety community and to engage with fellow researchers, policymakers, and industry partners.
