We are pleased to announce that the Soft Bicycle 360, developed in collaboration with our sister company AB Dynamics, has received official approval for use in Euro NCAP testing. This means the cyclist target can now be used in all Euro NCAP cyclist-based test scenarios for both passenger vehicles and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
Before earning this approval, the Soft Bicycle 360 underwent a rigorous evaluation process to ensure compliance with Euro NCAP’s requirements. Working closely with an accredited Euro NCAP laboratory, our engineering teams provided detailed certification and comparative test data to demonstrate the target’s reliability, accuracy, and performance in ADAS testing.
Engineered for demanding and repeatable testing environments, the Soft Bicycle 360 is 30% lighter than comparable targets, making it easier to handle and deploy. Its modular construction enables quick rebuilds, while the reverse-running capability allows faster repositioning between tests - improving efficiency and maximizing productivity on the track.
The Soft Bicycle 360 joins our growing range of Euro NCAP-approved test equipment, which also includes the Soft Car 360, Soft Pedestrian 360, and Soft Motorcycle 360.
